The Jade Temptress – Arts and Crafts

Here we are in the middle of release week for The Jade Temptress — huzzah!

I’m touched that Mingyu and Wu Kaifeng’s story has generated some wonderful comments:

Group Review and Recommended Read from Dear Author
An A rating from the “That’s What I’m Talking About” blog
Four stars from Poisoned Rationality
A strong recommendation from the “It’s My Genre, Baby” blog

…and some lovely reviews from readers on Amazon & BN who’ve bought and read the book already (THANK YOU!)

If you’d like to see what all the fuss is about, The Jade Temptress can be found almost everywhere that ebooks are sold:  Amazon | B&N | Harlequin | aRE | iTunes

Now for today’s arts and crafts activity: A few readers did commiserate with me that it would have been nice to have a print copy of “Jade” to go on their shelves alongside The Lotus Palace. I absolutely agree!

Though the two tales were written so they can stand alone, they were always planned as linked stories — “sister” novels as it were. So if you, like me, would love to see the Lotus/Jade combo together on your shelf, do not despair my friend.

I have hijacked an idea from Courtney Milan and provided an attractive printable dust cover for The Jade Temptress that can be conveniently put over almost any mass market paperback. I took the liberty of tooting my own horn a bit and added four little words to the digital version of the cover. (Hey, if you got it, flaunt it, right? I seriously never thought I’d see the day.)

I tested a print out by folding along the guidelines and wrapping it over a copy of The Lotus Palace. Fits like a glove! Make sure you download and print the PDF file and not the thumbnail image above.

So if you’re one of the few, the proud few who managed to snag a copy of The Lotus Palace in print, now you can have at least the cover for The Jade Temptress sitting beside it. Or heck, if you just happen to have a paperback novel with a cover that you’re not so hot about, you’re one mini-origami project away from having this beauty on your shelf instead. (I’d love to see pictures if anyone attempts this.)

CONTEST: It occurred to me that I won the dust jacketed version of “Proof by Seduction” which set me on my way to being a die-hard Courtney Milan fan. So comment here on this thread to be entered to win a signed copy of The Lotus Palace with a cover of The Jade Temptress around it. A riddle, wrapped in a mystery….

I’ll draw the winner randomly on Sunday 3/9.

I will also have the covers printed in color to give away as swag at various signings and events this year like RT and RWA. Enjoy!

    Hi Jeannie Lin,
The cover is fantastic, very oriental with the shades of blue and green and red spots to enhance its romantic atmosphere.
I certainly would like to win this contest.

    Warm greetings

Thanks Kym! And it was just the USA Today list, not the NYT. But yes, flaunting it proudly.
