One of the things that really catches my eye on your covers is the use of red. It seems very muted on the day cover. So, while I do like both, I prefer the more vibrant night time cover.

Red does seem to be a recurring theme, doesn’t it?
I’m partial to the night time cover. Maybe because *ahem* I did that one myself 🙂

You should stick to doing your own covers…the sequel’s cover is pretty disappointing to me. A static suit of samurai armor would’ve been better….luckily I’ll be getting ebook, so it doesn’t matter since I rarely see the covers of the ebooks I buy. My kindle just skips to the words automatically…
