I’m glad it’s giving people a little chuckle. My favorite part has to be my thin hubby enjoying that huge slice of cake. That’s pretty much every night at our household. He gets 2 desserts, I get an apple.
By the way, I must say my trainer actually doesn’t believe in no-carbs as a rule. He just put me on a no-starch diet for these last two months. Just to exonerate you, Mr. Strange. 😉

Last year, I was so nervous/excited about my first conference that I barely remembered to eat in the weeks leading up to Nationals. I dropped a few pounds, and felt fabulous — lighter on my feet, more energetic, and interestingly, more in control of my eating.
This year, not so much. I just ate four slices of bread and ten of those delightful Trader Joe’s Triple Ginger Snaps, and I’m calling it lunch at 5 PM.
I hope you get a lovely turnout for your workshop. You’re on a fabulous panel, and you’re discussing something of interest to a great many people. I may need to come along to research an idea I’ve got for a HHl Undone…

Jamie – we had a lot on our minds last year, didn’t we? I really want to see what everyone’s costume looks like for the panel. I’m a little worried that it’s so early on Saturday, but hopefully we’ll get some early risers.
To Jill/Lynn and others who aren’t going to conference, I hope we’ll have plenty of pictures to post. I wonder if RWA will allow video if we just do the fashion show part? Hmm….
Julie – There’s nothing to be nervous about. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming.
