News and Appearances – NJRW

Big news: The Dragon and the Pearl has been accepted for publication. Now the cycle begins all over again.

I’m headed to the New Jersey Romance Writer’s conference. Hoping to attend some great workshops and meet up with several long distance writer buddies. I’ll also be signing on Saturday at the Woodbridge Renaissance Hotel.

Should be a good time. And then my crazy road show will slow down. Nothing more until the end of November for the Music City chapter where I’ll be opening for the lovely Barbara Poelle and Holly Root. Waiting to exhale…

Take care and have a good weekend. I know I will.

Thanks all! Waiting all nervous and giddy for a release date.

Also need to put my conference thoughts together and get stabilized. All systems will be back online by tonight, I believe. 🙂

Does that mean the sale numbers for Butterfly Swords was good enough? Or was it the Silk Road book that was conditional?

When I bought my copy of Butterfly Swords at B&N, I almost missed seeing it at the very bottom of the Harlequin rack. There were still 3-4 copies when I grabbed mine. 😡 Then a week later, they were all switched out even though October wasn’t over yet. I wonder how many copies a store will stock up on at a single time?

    Rita,
Too soon to tell about Butterfly Swords — however, The Dragon and the Pearl was given a go ahead before Butterfly Swords ever hit the shelves, which is good news! Acceptance just means they’re now looking for a publication date.

I’m glad you were able to find Butterfly Swords. Historicals do get the short end of the stick, being stuck down there. LOL. But hopefully the lovely new covers will make up for that. And they do pull the last month’s before the month is out. All these intricacies…I just hope everyone looking for a book can find one, either in store or online. 🙂
