 Saturday, November 7 is National Bookstore Day as declared by Publisher’s Weekly. It’s not like I need much of an excuse to troll around bookstores, but I think I’ll make it a point this weekend to head out to Rose’s Bookhouse, an indpendent shop in OFallon.
“Read locally” the campaign slogan says. I love going to independent bookshops with a backlist of titles (not just the current ones on the shelves everywhere else) and a good used book section as well as new. So this will be my tribute to the cause.
