After news of flooding in Nashville earlier this week and the subsequent closing of the Opryland hotel, RWA has relocated its conference this year to Orlando, Florida. Wow, that was fast!
So I’ve shuffled the travel arrangements around and we’re back in business.
In the interim, I’ve picked up another speaking gig. I’ll be presenting the “Keeping Them Hooked” workshop on June 13th to the Los Angeles Romance Authors (LARA). I’m quite happy about that since LARA was my home chapter and I’m sure to see plenty of familiar faces! Hmm….does that make my little jaunt to SoCal a business trip now?

And I love the resort it’s at–we drove by it a lot on the Disney World buses 🙂
I won’t be going to the conference but I am going to Disney World again this year about a month and a half later 🙂

I currently live here (Orlando) but I’m moving next week! The timing is ridiculous, lol. I might come back and stay w/ my parents or something so I can attend 🙂

Conference has been a must for me since I first joined RWA. It started as my one yearly vacation when I was teaching. But yes, with two workshops and a book and novella coming out, I definitely have more incentive to get over there. Plus it’s Disney. They do spike everything with happy dust, and that’s…OK. 🙂
