Yes, My Fair Concubine is up for its first head to head in the book tournament with a funny name. Vote between 12:00pm CST (high noon!) and ends at 11:59pm CST on Friday, March 22.
There’s no need to register to vote and you can vote multiple times from different devices and IP addresses. So you can present a triple threat voting from your PC, your phone, and your tablet. It’s not cheating, it’s encouraged. Trust me–I encourage it! 🙂

Author Sarah M Anderson, who writes fabulous contemporary Westerns, made a pretty fantastic Hero vs. Hero video featuring Fei Long and his first adversary in the tournament. Perhaps it was unfair to drop my medieval warrior into the midst of a these sheikhs and CEOs?

And of course, there’s my bribe! If My Fair Concubine makes it to round 2, I’m off to the HotDamn Design studios to shoot a Harlem Shake video with the cover models. Take a look at their portfolio if you’re interested in cover art.

Getting ready for a DABWAHA throwdown
I’ve been plotting my DABWAHA campaign–MWHAHA!!! *rubs hands together gleefully*
To get into the mad scientist spirit of things, I’ve created a campaign poster using the Pulp-o-mizer, a super cool custom vintage cover generator. You like?
The tournament starts on Sunday when people can start picking their brackets. Today is the last day to nominate your favorite 2012 books.
All of the categories will eventually go head to head, but to start off with, I’ll be competing against the other books in the series/category division and, as you can see, the competition will be fierce:
- About Last Night by Ruthie Knox ( A | BN | K | S )
- Her Outback Rescuer by Marion Lennox ( A | BN | K | S )
- Once a Ferrara Wife by Sarah Morgan ( A | BN | K | S )
- Her Best Worst Mistake by Sarah Mayberry ( A | BN | K | S )
- St. Piran’s: Wedding of the Year by Caroline Anderson ( A | BN | K | S )
- In His Eyes by Emmie Dark ( A | BN | K | S )
- My Fair Concubine by Jeannie Lin ( A | BN | K | S )
- Wildcard!!
Voting starts next week on Tuesday, March 19 and I’m excited to see who my first head to head will be against. I’m honored to be part of the tournament and will do my best to win support for My Fair Concubine. Game on!
