Where’s Jeannie?

First, a shout out to the Golden Heart hopefuls. The loops were all abuzz this weekend and I even got a call from my mentee on Friday asking about how to put the darn thing together. All of the adrenalin has my heart beating faster and I must say, I do miss it. So good luck to all and may your wildest dreams come true.

I thought it might be fun to plot out where I’ve been in the last couple weeks. I’d like to say this jumping around is jetsetting and glamorous, but right now I’m just tired and trying to catch up. I have a couple days to catch my breath before the day job points me at Austin. I’m hoping after that, I can rest for a while. Then I can finally post my travel pics!

The only good thing is I’ve managed to put a dent in the TBR pile. I finished The Winter Queen, by Amanda McCabe, Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford, and Heaven’s Net is Wide by Lian Hearn all this holiday weekend. I even started on the first book of Outlaws of the Marsh.

Can’t get online in transit, so can’t work. Oh blessed silence! Of course, I did have to get online during the drive to Baton Rouge. Imagine trying to catch a signal as you’re driving through cotton farms.

How’s the writing going? Let’s not talk about the writing just yet.

Can I just imagine I’m on a glamorous book tour? 🙂

Wow, you have been all over!

Glad you read Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet–I actually got to go to a book signing and talk with Jamie Ford and he recognized me from all my comments on his blog 😛 It was awesome!

Someday all this traveling will be for a book tour. 🙂

It was so lovely and full of hope. I think I cried twice while reading it.
