Top Chef Marathon

I wrestled the television back from hubby last night and watched four straight hours of Top Chef — MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

It was the last three episodes of Top Chef Masters with the opening episode of Top Chef Las Vegas. I’m itching to drive all the way to Chicago to try out Rick Bayless’ restaurant, Frontera Grill. Perhaps I’m missing good Mexican food since coming to the Midwest.

I’m going to theorize that I gain weight when I can’t get my food fix vicariously through television. That explains the increasing squishiness.

LOVE top chef. And was happy to see Rick win! He definitely deserved it. I’m dying to try Frontera Grill. Can’t believe I didn’t eat there when I lived in Chicago!

Ooh! Rick’s restaurant Topolobampo is offering the winning menu from Top Chef.

How many hours is it to Chicago? Will my husband think I’m nuts?
