Happy Holidays!

So glad to finally be home. I made a casual mention of duck before jetting off and I came home late last night to find a duck in the fridge and apples and wild rice waiting to become the dressing.

Hubby’s boy and I were so jazzed about the traditional flare of a nice Christmas duck that it stirred all sorts of talk about making homemade eggnog and plum pudding. I have no idea how to make a plum pudding. All I know is the serving of it involves fire.

So already I have a bit of an odds and ends holiday to-do list:

1. Get fixings for plum pudding assembly (or buy a plum pudding from the international foods place)

2. Wrap gifts

3. Wax snowboard

4. Revise Silk Road – I get a glorious few days off from the day job!

Hope you’re all weathering the holiday storms. Happy Holidays to all, and may they be filled with fun, family and lots of love.
