Getting ready for a DABWAHA throwdown

I’ve been plotting my DABWAHA campaign–MWHAHA!!! *rubs hands together gleefully*

To get into the mad scientist spirit of things, I’ve created a campaign poster using the Pulp-o-mizer, a super cool custom vintage cover generator. You like?

Pulp-O-Mizer_Cover_ImageThe tournament starts on Sunday when people can start picking their brackets. Today is the last day to nominate your favorite 2012 books.

All of the categories will eventually go head to head, but to start off with, I’ll be competing against the other books in the series/category division and, as you can see, the competition will be fierce:

Voting starts next week on Tuesday, March 19 and I’m excited to see who my first head to head will be against. I’m honored to be part of the tournament and will do my best to win support for My Fair Concubine. Game on!

News: St. Louis Comic-Con & DABWAHA

Lots of news this week!

First, I’m on a panel at the St. Louis Comic-con, Wizard World Convention, with local authors Shawntelle Madison, Angie Fox and Cole Gibsen. Our panel is titled: Swords, Steam and Sorcery: Authors tell all and it’s at 1:30 to 2:15 on Sunday, March 24. Oh, and just a hint…I’m actually in the Swords and the Steam part of that title.

Hope to see some familiar faces there!

Part Two of the good news is that My Fair Concubine was nominated for DABWAHA (Dear Author Bitchery Writing Award for Hellagood Authors). This is a no-holds-barred online vote grab. I’m in the category romance division against some huge crowd favorites with massive readerships who have never even heard of Jeannie Lin, nor realized that she writes category romance. My type of odds!

The contest officially starts on March 17th when people finalize their brackets and the voting starts on the 19th.

Here’s my 2013 finalist graphic which I am proudly flaunting. Game on, indeed!
