Romance Trading Cards-Here’s Mine

If you haven’t heard, Romancelandia is abuzz making romance trading cards in preparation for the the RT Booklovers Convention in Los Angeles.

Here’s my editions which I’ll be toting to the convention. I have a collectible set of four from Butterfly Swords and The Taming of Mei Lin. For Mei Lin & Shen Leung, I reveal a bit of secret history not available in the Undone short story. Enjoy!

The samples below show the front with the cover and the two versions of the back for each story. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stay for the booksigning so I’ll be giving these away during my two CLUB RT spots.

If you’re headed to either RT or RWA or any conferences in between, look for this symbol to find participating authors.

The full list of participants and more sample cards can be found at http://www.romancetradingcards.com. I can’t wait for the fun to begin!

Of course, newsletter subscribers will always get first dibs. I’ll be giving details about how to get these cards in the March edition of the newsletter which is out Tuesday. Sign up here.

RTC Web Tutorial tonight

The web tutorial will be presented in GoTo Meeting and I’ll be speaking using VOIP (Voice over IP). If your computer has a working microphone and speakers, you will most likely be fine. If your microphone or speakers aren’t working, you can also dial in using the number that will be provided when you join the meeting.

The Web Tutorial has concluded. A recording will be place online shortly.

Before you join the call:

1. DM or e-mail Jeannie from my webform to get the password.

2. Click on the link above and make sure you can download the GoTo meeting session software. You should get to a pop-up window that says you are waiting for the leader to join the call. Exit after that. I’ve been able to do it on several computers with Mozilla Firefox. Some versions of Internet Explorer may have issues.

3. Make sure your speakers and microphone are working. If you don’t have a microphone, you can still listen in and use the chat feature in the meeting to ask questions.

4. Once the meeting starts, you will be selecting the Microphone and Speakers option:
