Ha! You knew I’d have to sneak in a couple of newborn pics before the end of the year, right?

Here’s my two little kittens, Daniel and Mae Linh. The nurses in the NICU took these adorable pics for us. They are 10 days old and we’re having our first Christmas together today.

They were born on Thursday December 15 at 2:29 am. Daniel was 3lb 2oz and Mae Linh weighed in at 3lb 3.5oz. Daniel has since surpassed his little sister in weight.

So cute Jeannie. Those are quite the presents! (I lost my password on RD and missed out on the news.) I hope they are doing well. BTW, I had a premie born on Dec. 15 (in 1994, lol) and she’s always been very healthy. Have a wonderful Christmas!

I echo Carly. I was a 4 lb baby back in the day they just stuck preemies in incubators and hoped, and by the time I was a yr old, according to my mother and pics, no one could’ve guessed my early start.

Thanks everyone.

Now they have super hi-tech baby incubators, for which I’m very grateful. I told Daniel to enjoy the most expensive bed he’ll ever have.

Hubby and I made a donation to the March of Dimes to support research and resources for premature babies. It really is amazing how well the little ones are doing
